Nauti-Cat Crew Bio
Captain Ed Turner
AKA: E.T., Captain ET, Skipper, Special Ed, Fast Eddie,
Captain Ed Turner has been boating since he was a teenager when
his parents taught him to water ski. He then would borrow his
parent’s boat to take friends water skiing and camping on lakes
in Kentucky.
Ed had the rank of Captain in the Air Force as an F-4 pilot for
11 years and also a Captain with the airlines flying 737’s for
UsAirways. Ed also is a licensed Captain with the U.S.C.G.
Captain ET’s first personal boat was a Ski Supreme when he got
his first full time job. At one point while living on Lake
Norman, Ed had 7 boats at one time. For three years he lived on
board his 46’ Ocean Yachts in Key Largo. For several years
chartered bareboats in the Bahamas and Virgin Islands to take
friends out exploring the islands.
A few years ago Captain Ed found his life partner and they
decided to purchase a boat and settle down in Key Largo living
on board Nauti Cat. Over the years of bareboat charters taking
friends cruising in the Caribbean and our love for living in Key
Largo, ET and Sharon have started “Power Cat Charters” to take
others out to enjoy the cruising lifestyle.
