Nauti-Cat Sample Itineraries:
WEEKEND GETAWAY
4 Days/3 Nights
This cruise is an upper keys cruise.
Your cruise will begin in Miami. Traveling at 7 knots we
will take a slow cruise south on the intercoastal waterway.
This will allow you time to unwind from life’s hectic pace.
We will make intermittent stops along the way to give you
opportunities to explore some of the smaller uninhabited
islands if you chose. If you’re not ready to explore the
smaller islands en-route, just lay back, relax, and soak up
some good ole Florida sunshine. We will make a scheduled
stop at Elliott Key, which is a beautiful protected cove
with crystal clear water. This is a great place to try out
your snorkel equipment to ensure it’s in working order and
ready for use during your cruise. In the event you need to
replace your snorkel equipment we will be in Key Largo
tonight which has an abundance of dive shops. After
exploring the waters of Biscayne Bay, we will resume our
trip along the intercoastal waterway through Card Sound,
Barnes Sound, pass by Gilberts and Blackwater Sound until we
reach our evening anchorage in Key Largo. This anchorage
will be within a dinghy ride of historic Caribbean Club,
Sundowners, and Big Chill.
On your 2nd day we will continue down the ICW through Tarpin
Basin, Buttonwood Sound, past Tavenier to Plantation Key.
We will have lunch here off the beach on Plantation Key.
After lunch we will go through Snake Creek and come out
ocean side to have a great snorkel at Hens and Chickens
reef. Then do a drift snorkel at Pickles reef to anchor at
Rodriguez Key. We can anchor here which is within dinghy
range of Snappers and Coconuts or go into Key Largo marina
and get a slip for the night.
On your 3rd day we will snorkel the famous Molasses reef,
Grecian rocks, and the underwater Christ Statue at north dry
rocks.
Afterwards we will go bayside through Angelfish creek and
anchor at Pumpkin Key.
Day 4 we will go north on ICW to visit Boca Chita Key,
cruise by Stiltsville and relax at a sandbar before ending
our cruise back in Coconut Grove.

“SEE IT ALL”
Florida Keys / Dry Tortugas Adventure
(14-day)
We will travel the entire keys on the gulf side and ocean
side including a visit to Fort Jefferson in the Dry
Tortugas.
The cruise starts in Miami. It is much like the 10-day
cruise only after a day in Key West we will cruise to Fort
Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas. We will get there in time for
sunset on the 6th day and spend all day the 7th day
snorkeling and exploring the fort.
The 8th day we can spend more time in the Dry Tortugas or
start back and stay at the Marquesas unless you would like
another full day in Key West.
By the 10th day we leave Key West and follow the back half
of the 10-day Key West cruise (starting at day 6 on that
itinerary).

“CUBA”
In the future, we will be offering charters to Cuba. These
will likely be 7-10 day cruising charters of the north shore
with a night or two at Hemingway marina.
I am just hoping Obama administration opens up Cuban travel
soon. When he does, hotels will be very limited in Cuba, so
boat charters will be at a premium if nothing else for a
place to stay while in Cuba. |
